Theoretical - practical workshop for the management of (Bactericera cockerelli)

The B. cockkerelli is a plague that is currently causing significant damage to various crops of Solanaceae, being crops such as the Potato and the Tomato are at higher risk. This workshop theoretical and practical seeks to provide the farmer with new tools for its management ranging from morphology and physiology, to the genetics of insecticides, mechanisms of action for the rotation and its efficient chemical control and ethologically.

General objective

Know the management of Bactericera cockerelli.

Specific target

To understand the morphology and physiology of the pest
Recognize the insect in both the laboratory and in the field.
Propose efficient strategies for its management.
To know the rotation of pesticides, in order to avoid the resistance and the appropriate use of the different mechanisms and modes of action.
